One of my favorite things about being a photographer is that, through sharing my art with others, my life ends up being enriched by the wide variety of interesting and talented people I get to meet.  Through a wedding I shot last year, I came to know Richard and Jane Leake.  Jane is the owner of Ivy Downs Interiors.  She is an amazing interior designer, and Katie and I can’t wait to see what she does with our new home.  So stoked! 

Jane had seen my work and felt that I would be a good fit for her son Damon’s and his beautiful bride Leah’s wedding.  They’re so nice!  Damon and Leah flew in from Park City, Utah early for the wedding weekend, so we got to sit out on the Leake patio and get to know one another.  We talked about music, babies, real estate, their big day…the works.  This family is precious, and I’m so happy to have met them.

The wedding was at St. Peter Church, and their reception was trackside at Keeneland’s clubhouse.  Most of the guests came in from out-of-town, so these venues were a perfect way to show off Lexington.  Makes me proud!    Enjoy the slideshow, and please also click HERE to pre-register to see all of the final images here in a few weeks.  Thanks!
