My wife and I knew Betsy Jo back during our high school and college years, but we ended up kind of losing touch a bit over time. Betsy Jo married Nelson soon after college, and they now have a precious little boy, Noah. Katie and I got married not long after them, and now we have our own sweet boy, Carson. Thanks to Facebook, we’ve been reconnecting some, and as it turns out, we live pretty close to one another now.  Funny how things work out!  They’re an awesome family, and I’m hoping that we can soon get Noah and Carson together for a play date.  Betsy Jo—call Katie! 

Shannon Denniston recently hired me to come down to Pigeon Forge, TN to docement a weekend-long retreat he organized and hosted.  The purpose of the Buddy Summit was to bring together ”serial entrepreneurs, internet marketers, network marketers and real estate investors” for education, fun and networking.  Even though I was there more as a hired gun for the weekend, an objective observer of sorts, I, too, walked away having learned some pretty neat stuff.  More importantly for me?  I walked away with some new friends.  Very cool weekend.  Check out some of my fave images below, and be sure to watch the slideshow.  Fair warning—it’s a bit lengthy, but well worth the wait!  To see ALL of the images (and to order some…hehe), please click HERE and you’ll be notified when they’ll all ready to be viewed (tomorrow).
