Every spring before wedding season kicks off, I go out to California to shoot with and learn from my favorite photographers on the west coast, since it’s from there that pretty much all of the newest trends in wedding photography emanate.  While I’m out there next year, I’m also definitely going to hook up with my most recent wedding couple, Sarah and Tom, who’ve now flown back to their home in San Diego.  They’re the kind of clients I don’t want to say goodbye to.  Warm. Laid back. Fun. Good people.

Sarah and Tom chose to have both their ceremony and reception at the Carrick House.  Good move.  I always love working with the house’s event coordinator Ashley Lundergan.  Things just click when she’s at the helm.

Big thanks to the vendors who made Sarah’s and Tom’s wedding so perfect:

Catering: Lundy’s

Flowers: Stems

Hair: Marcella at Planet Salon and Spa

Cake: Le Matin

Music: Johnson Brothers

  • Wow Shaun! These are amazing! We are so honored to have such talent with us on this special day. You are great too! Talk to you soon and we look forward to seeing you in SD. Love, Sarah and Tom

  • Oh my goodness! I am absolutely taken aback by these amazing images. I am thankful for each and every couple that i get the honor to work with but Sarah and Tom were hands down my favorite wedding this year. Not only was the ceremony very moving and emotional but what a fun party! These families were a true pleasure to work with and as always Shaun i am just floored by the quality of your work.

    Always,
    Ashley

  • A-MAZING!!!! Love these shots they are gorgeous. Good eye. :D

  • Shaun, your photos are stunning, as always. They’re not just “pretty” images, although they are beautiful–they capture emotion and mood. You’re an artist!
