Lindsey and Corey are getting married in Brodhead, KY in less than 2 weeks. I’ve never been to Brodhead, but I always enjoy getting out to new places to shoot. Gets me out of my routine and pushes me a bit creatively.
These two came to know about me through a wedding I shot in May of 2008 (thanks, Cristy and Don!), so I’m really hoping that I’ll run into them (some of my fave past clients) at Lindsey’s and Corey’s wedding. It’s fun when things come around full circle.
For their engagement session, we started out downtown Lexington and made our way out to Keene Barn at Keeneland for some last-minute shots at dusk. It was a bit chilly, but these two were troopers. Autumn sessions in Kentucky are a mixed bag weather-wise, but the payoff is huge.
To Lindsey and Corey—You did GREAT and I can’t wait to meet all your family and friends at the wedding. If they’re like you, then we’ll have a blast for sure.

Great pictures! Didn’t know you had these until after the wedding but still enjoyed looking at them. Hope to see the wedding photos soon. Congratulations.
