Maybe it’s the fact that I’m blogging this at 5AM.  My mind is clear.  The house is quiet, save the mellow Pandora tunes drifting out of my desktop speakers.  Might explain why I just can’t help feeling a bit sentimental as I’m writing about Katy and Jeff.

I get a lot of cool clients.  We’re attracted to each other.  I believe that.  I don’t know how it all works.  I can tell you that there’s a common thread that runs through my clients.  They’re lovers of people and life.  I wonder if, when people look at my images, they feel as if we’re in the same mind, looking out of the same eyes toward the life around us.  Hopeful.  Optimistic.

However it is that it all works, I’m glad that it did with Katy and Jeff.  From the moment we met, I knew that I had stumbled upon kindred spirits.

To Katy and Jeff—Thank you for inviting me into your lives.  I’m looking forward to staying in touch through the years.
