You may have met Devie and Otto HERE on the blog back in March.  What I love most about them is their sense of adventure. While that March session at WT Young Library was fun, it was just a warm-up for the main event.  We journeyed to Cincinnati for their session so that they could relive their first date, which was at King’s Island. Before leaving Ohio, though, we stopped by downtown to soak in the city lights.

Below are some of my faves…

I’ve been dreaming about doing a shot like this for a long while. I knew what it would take to pull it off technically, but didn’t have the opportunity. Glad they were up for it!

Devie wowing Otto with her dance moves.

Smokin’ hot, eh? I hope Devie talks Otto into ordering a canvas as big as a wall for this one! Ha!

To Devie and Otto—stay tuned! Your wedding images will be up very, very soon. I’ve had so much fun getting to know you. Can’t wait to keep in touch!

To everyone else—I hope you enjoyed this post! If you’d like to stay up-to-date on new work and upcoming promotions, I’d love for you to connect with the studio HERE.  Bye!  -shaun

The evening I went out with Aubrey and Brad was perfect. Plenty of bright sunshine to play around with. And two people in love. We just moseyed about downtown Lexington. I would look for cool spots with interesting light, and then they’d get to just hang out together and be sweet. Great way to spend an evening.

To Aubrey and Brad—Awesome job. You were totally yourselves with me, and we made beautiful images. Thanks for trusting me with such an important time in your lives. See you soon!

Ashley and Nick had one of their first dates at Keeneland, so it was fitting to go there for their engagement session. This spring has been crazy weather-wise. So lucky they caught a pretty day out!

I grew up with Nick in Mt. Sterling. Our names both begin with R, which mean that we ended up sitting next to each other alot in classes. He was always an awesome dude to be around. Now he’s joined forces with Ashley, who might just be even sweeter than him, if that’s even possible. Together they’re a dynamic duo, using their superhero abilities to make people smile and feel valued. I love being around them.

Their session turned out so cool. 100% them. Laid back and sweet. Here are some of my favorites:

What a moment.

Candi came with me to this shoot and scored this next shot. Gorgeous.

So pretty and timeless.
