I photographed Lauren’s and Shelby’s wedding, hmm….wow—5 years ago. Yikes. Time really is moving quickly. Since then, they’ve moved to Bardstown, opened their own dentistry business, and they’ve welcomed two amazing children into the world—Nate and Luke. They’re doing an awesome job keeping it all balanced, too.
Thanks for staying in touch, you all! See you next year!
This family is awesome. I’ve been photographing them since Jackson was born. He’s a big boy now, with a sweet sister who’s getting big, too. It’s fun seeing a family grow up, but to be a part of that family’s history—-wow. It’s the best.
To Kelley and Jeremy—Thank you for continuing to choose me to document these days with your kiddos. I appreciate your business, but I love our friendship most. Talk to you soon!
So sweet. And I love that they’re rocking the matching khakis!
Jackson cracks me up. No lack of personality…LOL That confidence will serve him well in life!
Kristy owns the real estate company I work for. We both used to work for another great company in Lexington, but Kristy, being driven and immensely brave, left the safety of the nest to start her own company. I joined her team a little while later, because there’s something about new beginnings that’s exciting to me. Today her company, RE/MAX Elite is one of the most successful real estate firms in town, not because Kristy is awesome (but she is), but because she encourages her agents to be.
This wedding wasn’t just about Kristy and Todd joining their lives together, though it was a huge part, of course. It was also about joining together two sweet families—Kristy and her three kids with Todd and his two. As a wedding photographer, it can be tempting to apply a one-size-fits-all approach to telling the story through pictures, but I think it’s most important to always be true to the moment. Capturing the spirit of the people and relationships. Recording the real them, though not as a passive observer, but rather as one person with a camera who is very fond of this family.
I love the fact that you are soooo good, that you make me cry during slideshows of people that I have never met. Another amazing job Shaun and best of luck to the couple!
